This is the biggest Traffic Racer Pro update yet. Version 2.2.1 is live now on iOS and Android. It adds a proper progression system, a new way to build and tune your cars, 4 new cars, and a brand-new multiplayer map, Drift Mansion. It also changes almost every screen you touch between races.
Here's what's new: player levels, XP, daily tasks and career rewards; parts-based upgrades with a manual gearbox and gear ratio tuning; flag customization; redesigned racing, store and settings menus; customizable controls; better engine and horn sounds; and one fix a lot of you have been asking for: cars can finally go faster than 400 km/h. If you're new to the game, our complete guide to Traffic Racer Pro covers the career, the garage and multiplayer from the start.
Player Levels, XP and Career Rewards
Every race now counts toward something bigger. Traffic Racer Pro 2.2.1 adds player levels and XP, so each race, win and finish moves you further along. Daily tasks give you a few fresh goals each day, and new career rewards pay out as you work through the career. It makes a quick session worthwhile, and gives a long one something to chase.
Parts-Based Upgrades, Manual Gearbox and Gear Ratio Tuning
Upgrading a car used to mean raising a number. Now it means building one. The new parts-based upgrade system lets you improve your car one part at a time, and you can see what each one changes.
If you want even more control, there's now a manual gearbox: you shift when you want to. Pair it with gear ratio tuning and you can set a car up for fast launches or for top speed on a long highway.
To help you decide, every car now shows full vehicle stats and its weight. You can compare builds properly before you spend a single coin.
4 New Cars and Flag Customization
The garage grows by 4 new cars, and they cover a lot of ground:
- A performance wagon. It's practical in shape but fast enough to hunt down supercars.
- A four-door luxury coupe. It's low, dark and quick.
- A lime green sports coupe. It has a big grille and even bigger attitude.
- A track-focused GT with a huge rear wing. It's built for corners.
Every one of them works with the new parts-based upgrades, so you can tune them any way you like.
Flag customization also arrives in 2.2.1. Pick a flag and show where you race from.

New Multiplayer Map: Drift Mansion
Multiplayer has a new place to meet. Drift Mansion is a brand-new multiplayer environment:
- A hillside circuit with red-and-white kerbs above a mountain lake
- A drift loop in front of the mansion
- Mountain roads and a stone tunnel
- A small town with tight streets and intersections
- A service center with a big open parking lot
You can race through it, drift the loop, or just cruise around with other players. It's set in autumn colours and golden light, so it's also a great place to take screenshots.

Redesigned Menus and Customizable Controls
The racing, store and settings menus have all been redesigned. They're cleaner and faster, so you get from the garage to the road quickly.
You can also set the game up the way you like to drive. Controls are now customizable, steering sensitivity can be adjusted, and there are new camera options, so every car handles and looks the way you want.
Better Sound and Quality of Life
- Improved engine and horn sounds. Every car sounds more like the machine it is.
- KMH/MPH switching. Read your speed in the units you think in.
- The 400 km/h limit is gone. Cars used to hit an invisible wall at 400 km/h. That's fixed, so the fastest builds can now reach their true top speed.
